Movie 2020 Nomadland: 3 Highlights of the Oscar-winning Film "Nomadland"

After winning the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival and winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Drama Film and Best Director, the documentary film "Nomadland" directed by Chinese female director Chloe Zhao made the audience have great expectations, and at the same won three Oscars overall.

Story
The background of the story is located in the economic recession in the 2010s. The heroine Fern was fired from the factory and her husband passed away due to illness. So she changed the seller to buy a small truck and wandered around the world, working part-time to support her livelihood and life. On the journey, she met many "nomads" who were also home from all over the world and rediscovered her life in this corner where no one talked about and was neglected.

1. Excellent Directing Skills of Asian Female Directors
I have to say that this movie can touch people's hearts and make the audience sincerely admire the directing skills of Asian female director Zhao Ting. She used the documentary technique to shoot "Nomadland", presenting Fern's experience personally and the feelings are sincere and not artificial which is touching. At the same time, the shots and scenes of "Nomadland" are very splendid. The scenes gave people the feeling of "leaving the world" and echoing the "nomads" in the economic recession.

2. Adapted from a Masterpiece of Factual Literature
The book “Nomadland” was launched in 2017 by writer and media person Jessica Bruder. It tells about the elderly Americans in the 21st century who became homeless due to the economic recession and the ethnic groups who tolerated the fringes of American society and used cars as their home. By delving into the lives of these "nomads," she described the background of these people, their identities before becoming travellers and how they "walked the world in a cart" in the deserted land.

3. Performed by Real Nomads
The actors in the film are "truck dwellers" who really live a turbulent life. The production team of "Nomadland" also filmed a series of interview clips as a viewing mirror. Although the clips have not been made public, there must be many emotional and thought-provoking vagrant stories in them, allowing us to better understand the needs of the grassroots of American society.
